支持 macOS / Windows 上的 Chrome 和 Edge。助手自动下载、校验和解压插件，并配置以后的更新。

01 先安装助手，再打开它

macOS：打开官网下载的 PKG 安装包。看到「目的宗卷 / 选择一个目的宗卷」时，选择 Macintosh HD（系统磁盘）并继续。此处只选择助手所在磁盘，不能选具体文件夹；这是正常的。

当前：macOS 安装器Macintosh HD → 应用程序安装的是助手本身

安装完成后打开 Page Annotator InstallerFinder → 应用程序（Applications）

完成 PKG 安装后，还要打开助手。前往 Finder 的「应用程序」，双击 Page Annotator Installer，下一步才会出现插件文件夹选择窗口。

Windows：解压助手 ZIP，打开 安装更新助手.cmd。无需另外安装 Python 或 Node。Windows 尚未完成代码签名，可能出现 SmartScreen 提示。

02 在助手中选择插件文件夹

推荐选择「文档」。助手会在所选位置创建 Page Annotator 文件夹，自动从官网下载并校验插件。不用下载插件 ZIP、手动解压或复制扩展 ID。

已有用户请选择当前浏览器使用的原插件文件夹。助手只连接原位置，不覆盖原文件或清理浏览器数据。请不要把新目录当作更新来替换旧插件。

03 按图文指引完成浏览器加载

助手会自动打开引导页，显示具体文件夹路径和操作示意图。在 Chrome / Edge 中开启开发者模式，点击「加载已解压的扩展程序」，选择该文件夹。

看到「页面标注」卡片后即安装完成。浏览器首次加载需要你操作；文件准备和更新助手配置已自动完成。

以后更新，只需点击按钮

在插件内打开「更新」→「立即更新」。助手自动下载、校验、备份和安装，完成后重启浏览器即可。无需重复运行安装程序或导出 JSON。

自动备份位于原插件目录的 .pa-updater 文件夹。保留原安装位置，不要通过卸载来更新。

01 アシスタントをインストールして開く

macOS：公式サイトの PKG を開きます。「インストール先の選択」では Macintosh HD（起動ディスク）を選んで続けます。この画面ではディスクだけを選びます。フォルダを選択できないのは正常です。

現在：macOS インストーラMacintosh HD → アプリケーションアシスタント本体をインストール

インストール後Page Annotator Installer を開くFinder → アプリケーション（Applications）

PKG の完了後、アシスタントを開いてください。Finder の「アプリケーション」で Page Annotator Installer をダブルクリックすると、次の手順で拡張機能のフォルダを選べます。

Windows：アシスタント ZIP を展開し、安装更新助手.cmd を開きます。Python や Node は不要です。Windows のコード署名は未完了のため、SmartScreen の警告が表示される場合があります。

02 アシスタントで拡張機能フォルダを選択

「書類」フォルダをおすすめします。選択した場所に Page Annotator フォルダを作成し、公式サイトから拡張機能を自動でダウンロード・検証します。拡張機能 ZIP の手動ダウンロード・展開や、拡張機能 ID のコピーは不要です。

すでに利用している場合は、現在のブラウザーが読み込んでいる元の拡張機能フォルダを選択してください。既存の場所に接続するだけで、ファイルの上書きやブラウザーデータの消去は行いません。更新のために別のフォルダへ移さないでください。

以前 ZIP を展開してインストールした場合

更新画面があり、接続できる場合：元の拡張機能フォルダを選ぶだけです。拡張機能の再インストールは不要です。

更新画面がない、または旧版非対応と表示される場合：公式サイトの「別の方法：拡張機能 ZIP を手動ダウンロード」から最新版を取得します。展開した中身を元のフォルダに上書きし、パスを維持してください。フォルダをさらに入れ子にしないでください。ブラウザーの拡張機能管理画面で元の拡張機能を再読み込みし、新しい権限の確認に従います。その後アシスタントで同じフォルダを選び、拡張機能の更新画面で再接続します。この手動更新は初回のみです。

元の拡張機能を削除したり、ブラウザーデータを消去したりしないでください。選ぶフォルダの直下には manifest.json があります。

03 図解に沿ってブラウザーに読み込む

具体的なフォルダパスと操作図を含むガイドが自動で開きます。Chrome / Edge のデベロッパーモードを有効にし、「パッケージ化されていない拡張機能を読み込む」から指定のフォルダを選択します。ブラウザーによって表記が異なる場合があります。

「页面标注 Page Annotator」のカードが表示されればインストール完了です。ブラウザーへの初回読み込みは手動操作が必要ですが、ファイルの準備と更新アシスタントの設定は完了しています。

次回からは、ボタンで更新

拡張機能内の「更新」→「立即更新」（今すぐ更新）をクリックします。ダウンロード・検証・バックアップ・インストールは自動です。完了したらブラウザーを再起動してください。インストーラーの再実行や JSON の書き出しは不要です。

自動バックアップは元の拡張機能フォルダ内の .pa-updater に保存されます。元の保存場所を維持し、更新のために拡張機能を削除しないでください。

01 Install the assistant, then open it

macOS: open the PKG from the official website. At “Select a Destination”, choose Macintosh HD (your startup disk) and continue. This screen selects a disk for the assistant, so it is normal that you cannot choose a specific folder here.

After the PKG finishes, open the assistant. In Finder → Applications, double-click Page Annotator Installer. You can choose the extension folder in the next step.

Windows: extract the assistant ZIP and open 安装更新助手.cmd. No Python or Node installation is needed. Windows code signing is pending and SmartScreen warnings may appear.

02 Choose the extension folder in the assistant

Documents is a convenient choice. The assistant creates a Page Annotator folder there and downloads and verifies the extension from the official website. You do not need to download or extract the extension ZIP yourself, or copy an extension ID.

Already using the extension? Select the original folder currently loaded by your browser. The assistant connects to that location without overwriting existing files or clearing browser data. Do not move to a new folder as a way to update the old installation.

Previously installed from an extracted ZIP?

Update is available and the assistant can connect: select the original extension folder. You do not need to reinstall or load the extension again.

No Update entry, or the assistant says the old release is unsupported: expand “Alternative: download the extension ZIP manually” on the website. Extract it and copy its contents over the original extension folder, replacing matching files. Keep the original path; do not nest another folder inside it. Reload the existing extension from your browser’s extensions page and approve any newly requested permissions. Then run the assistant, select the same folder, and reconnect from the extension’s Update page. This manual update is only needed once.

Do not uninstall the extension or clear browser data. The selected folder must directly contain manifest.json.

03 Load the extension using the illustrated guide

The assistant opens a guide showing your exact folder path and illustrated instructions. In Chrome or Edge, enable Developer mode, click Load unpacked, and select that folder.

Installation is complete when the “页面标注 Page Annotator” card appears. You must complete the initial browser loading step yourself; file preparation and updater configuration are already done.

For future updates, just click the button

In the extension, open “更新” (Update), then click “立即更新” (Update now). Downloading, verification, backup and installation are automatic. Restart your browser when finished. There is no need to rerun the installer or export JSON.

Automatic backups are stored in .pa-updater inside the original extension folder. Keep the same installation location, and do not uninstall the extension to update it.
